The Esplanade concert hall provides seating for 1600 over 4 levels, including stall, foyer stall and 3 circular seating arrangements. Behind the concert hall stage, there are 200 extra seats that can be converted into Gallery seats if necessary. Four VIP private boxes are also available.
The Esplanade's theater is formed in the traditional European opera house design, in the shape of a horseshoe, and offers seating for 2000. The theater holds Singapore's largest performing stage. A main stage and two accessory stages provide facilities for technical set-ups and quick scene changes. A 30 meter high fly tower and an orchestra pit add more flare to the theater's setting. The viewing distance between the stage and the last seating row is just 40 meters.
The Esplanade Theater on the Bay also houses a recital studio, theater studio, exhibition space (jendela) and two outdoor performing stages on the waterfront.
